Rectangular Figure with Curves

This modern rectangular figure is another interesting mix of positive and negative forms, it has a bold pattern that speaks out yet is a sensitive figure.  Another architectonic icon, I think this has a very Germanic feel the blockiness, hard edges, strong strong energies, its a powerful piece in its simplicity. Intersecting lines playing off the solid forms, juxtaposed block shapes, the many parallel horizontal and verticle lines, It is a compact sculpture still there is a softness and openness to this piece.
