The Lovers was a culmination of 20 years of thinking 
about wave theory
as a doodle'r 
i connected the brain wave pattern with my drawing hand
so in a sense i was the encephlograph drawing brain waves in my note books
and I interpreted these drawings as my art
and so simplicity struck again 
depicticting a pair a squiggly lines as two figures 
a wave pattern
a dna double helix
the cadusas
snake-like 
the lovers were born
