This is a humorous and fun piece as the title says
a walking figure yet a hound dog face on the body that doubles as an 
Ode to Mr. Peabody, a cartoon character that I watched as a child
this piece has a partner "Man Wearing a Face" 
      
they are actually a couple
I think I first met my wife in 1981 or 82 
and this piece was about my new relationship

over the years this has been quite popular
